Women’s Report 7 March

Silver II Pennants:   The Silver II Pennants team played Concord at Roseville and won 3 games to 2. The team was represented by left to right Karol Hwang, Misuk Lee, Ann KIM, Elizabeth Sung and Sue Chim. Congratulations to all. This week they will play Killara at Concord. Good Luck and enjoy your game.

Muirfield Tuesday, 12 March:  For those who have registered to play at Muirfield on 12 March while our course is closed, please CLICK HERE to access your tee time for that day. 

Thursday, 21 March Singles Knockout Qualifying Round:  Players who wish to play in the Knockout must indicate to the pro shop that they wish to qualify.  The 16 players with the best stableford scores will qualify to play in the Singles Knockout commencing the following Thursday. Those that do qualify must pay an entry fee of $10 per player and this must be paid before the first round. Place the money in an envelope with your name, the event and money in the slot in the locker room

Open Day Tuesday, 26 March:  Irish Team Stableford – 8:am Shotgun Start. Invite all your friends to our Open Day on 26 March. The sheet is out in the locker room. For your guests we will need their Golflink number and $25 entry fee.  This can be placed in an envelope with their name and golflink number in the slot in the locker room. Members will pay the usual green fee at the pro shop on the day.

Pennants Jumpers:  Thank you to Bendigo Bank for their generous sponsorship of $2000 towards funds for team jumpers. Thanks to all those who volunteered at the BBQ for Sydney Vets which raised a further $680 towards the jumpers. Another BBQ to support this project will be held on Saturday 6th April. Volunteers are needed, so please place your name on the sheet in the locker room.

Empower Golf:  The committee has taken the decision that it is time to move our support to Empower Golf, a registered charity which supports Australians with disabilities to access golf courses, fund, provide and procure adaptive equipment, and promote their inclusion in all aspects of the game. Some of you may have seen and met James Gribble, the founder of Empower Golf playing at NRGC.
